At Else Butchers Ltd the shop is run by Roger who has been a butcher for 48 years and bought the business from his boss. He is helped by his wife Brenda, son Julian and several other members of staff who are all very proud of the excellent quality fresh meat and meat products displayed, all labelled and priced with full traceability information available.
We have a large stock of well hung beef, local pork and lamb, free range poultry, several different varieties of our home made pork sausages, game when in season, home made burgers, oven baked meat pies, a fantastic BBQ range, home cured bacon, home cooked meats and a cheese and deli counter.

We are also very proud to be part of our village superstore Dike & Son which is open 7 days a week where we supply and run the butchery department alongside the fresh fish counter run by Martyn and Nicki Else. All three of us were winners in the Best of Dorset Food Awards 2008 and have recently been awarded the Taste of Dorset Best Butchers award 2010.

The shop is open from 6:30am - 1pm Monday, 6:30am - 5:30pm Tues - Fri closing for lunch 1pm - 2pm and 6am til 1pm on Saturdays.
